Important Changes at Ferihegy! Here’s How to Reach the Airport from February 20 🚗✈️
If you are traveling from Liszt Ferenc International Airport in the near future, it’s important to know that from February 20, the traffic regulations in front of Terminal 2 will change. Due to renovations, both vehicle traffic and parking options will be affected, so it's worth preparing in advance to ensure a smooth journey to your flight!
What’s changing?
🔹 No access to the departure level! From February 20, drivers will no longer be able to access the upper (departure) level in front of Terminal 2, meaning quick drop-offs and pick-ups will not be possible in this area.
🔹 Less space on the arrival level! The available area for drop-offs and pick-ups on the lower (arrival) level will also be reduced, which may cause congestion.
🚌 Changes in bus services
The final stop of the 100E airport shuttle will be relocated to the outer curve of the arrival level. The 200E bus will continue to stop at its usual station and will not be affected by the changes.
Buses not operated by BKK (e.g., private transfers) will not be allowed on the departure level and must use the Bus Terminal instead, which means a slight adjustment in our service as well.
What can you do to avoid inconvenience? ✅
✔ Depart earlier! The changes in traffic regulations may result in longer travel times to the terminal.
