New flights and developments
Budapest Airport isn’t slowing down! By early February, six new flights were announced, expanding the airport’s offerings. The list of new flights:
🔹 Jet2.com: new routes to East Midlands and Newcastle, primarily supporting inbound tourism. 🇬🇧
🔹 EasyJet: direct flights to Bordeaux and Nantes in the 2025 winter schedule. 🇫🇷
🔹 Jazeera Airways: direct flight to Kuwait City, offering new opportunities for Hungarian travelers to explore India and South Asia. 🇰🇼
🔹 SCAT Airlines: starting in May, two weekly flights between Budapest and Shymkent (Kazakhstan). 🇰🇿
New destinations in the Middle East and Asia
Jazeera Airways will launch a direct flight to Kuwait City in June, boosting inbound tourism while opening new possibilities for Hungarian travelers eager to explore India 🌏 and South Asia’s exotic landscapes. Meanwhile, SCAT Airlines will offer twice-weekly direct flights from May between Budapest and Shymkent, a key city in Kazakhstan. 🌟
