Wizz Air flies to Zadar from Budapest – Dalmatian coast from 12,000 HUF
Wizz Air is expanding its Budapest offering with another Croatian coastal destination: direct flights to Zadar will launch from Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport starting June 9, 2026.
Wizz Air is expanding its Budapest offering with another Croatian coastal destination: direct flights to Zadar will launch from Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport starting June 9, 2026.
One of the most popular cities on the Dalmatian coast will become easily and quickly accessible from Budapest during the summer season.
Four flights per week in the summer season
The airline's Airbus A321neo aircraft will operate four times a week on the route:
- on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
- between June 9 and September 19
Tickets are available from a starting price of 11,900 HUF on the Wizz Air website and mobile app, which is a particularly attractive offer for a summer seaside trip.
Strong competition on the Budapest–Zadar route
Serious competition is expected on this route, as Ryanair will also fly from Budapest to Zadar during the summer period. The airline plans three weekly flights (on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays), making travel even more flexible with the combined offerings of both airlines.
This also means passengers can combine flights from both airlines, making it easier to find better prices or more convenient schedules.
More and more Croatian destinations from Budapest
Earlier this year, Wizz Air announced it would also launch flights to Dubrovnik from Budapest, meaning two popular Dalmatian coast cities will be directly accessible from the Hungarian capital during the summer season.
